Measures taken to transport road travellers by the government are insufficient
The road passenger transport sector, both Discretionary, Tourist and Regular for special use in coach are currently paralyzed by the coronavirus crisis(CODIV-19)that our country is suffering. - Taxes in general – 100,000 euros
- Rentals – 6,000 euros/Monthly
- Vehicle letters – 6,000 euros/Monthly
- Loans – €9,000/Monthly
- Cleaning – 1,000o/Monthly
- Employees – 26,900 euros /Monthly
- Other Expenses (Repairs) – 100,000
- Total – 264,926 euros/Month
These expenses that we have just shown you, are expenses of a single company with an average of 15 workers, taking accounts, if the coronavirus crisis lasts more than 5 months the total expenditure amounts to 794,778 euros (The operation is carried out the total for 3 months). That is why Aetram (Association of Transport Entrepreneurs in Autocar de Madrid) has demanded new measures from the Spanish government to reduce the impact on companies in order to survive this epidemic.

Faced with this extreme situation that threatens the survival of companies Aetram calls for the adoption of measures, also extreme, that will help companies to their livelihood without being forced to disappear, in this regard are considered as appropriate measures: deductions, exemptions, tax and social deferrals (interest-free deferments of VAT payments and tax debts), interest-free lines of credit, deferment of outstanding payments in school transport contracts and updating delayed payments from Public Administrations to the Sector, temporary cancellation of insurance payment for paralyzed fleets , deferrals of loans, exemptions from social security contributions and establishment of an abbreviated procedure for the management of Ertes with reduction of deadlines and their procedure (communication and negotiation), among others.
